I know how to import the KML data to Google Earth but now I'm wondering about the best way to use this data.
For one, what's the best way to zoom in on the property I'm interested in?
Are the Green pins the properties that I'm interested in?
Because if that's the case, if I copy and paste the LAT/LONG into the search box I think it zooms in on the property but, so far, I haven't seen any of the properties that I'm interested in show up with a Green Pin.
Here's what I'm talking about:
I just can't figure out the best way to make use of this data.

Hi Ed,
The most effective way to find a particular property is actually going to be by searching for it with the APN. These will all be unique, and once that property is highlighted on the left hand column, you should be able to double click on it for the map to then zoom to the property's location.
Something else we suggest is downloading Google Earth for your desktop. It will make opening the KML files much easier (just a double click), and the desktop version of Google Earth has a better search functionality on the left hand pane!
