Waterfront Analysis
How It Works
Our waterfront analysis tool looks at the property's boundary and determines if it is adjacent to a significant body of water. Using the property's WKT (well known text) polygon boundary, we integrate with several 3rd party tools to assess and determine if there is any waterfront portions of the property.

What is considered a significant body of water?
In this tools context, significant body of water is considered any surface water that was able to be determined from various satellite imagery from Google. To read more about how this study was conducted, please see this Nature Article.
